Nancy Rankin Escovedo has been an innovative stylist in the Austin area since the 90′s. Specializing in hair cutting + styling. Nancy believes hairdressing is akin to sculpture and architecture. She applies leading-edge techniques inspired by natural forms to tailor styles to her individual clients.
When not working in the salon or on film + television projects; she brings her skills to a variety of fashion and print/editorial projects. Photoshoots with clients AT&T + Proctor & Gamble and fashion shows with noted designers. Magazines in which her work has been featured include VOGUE ITALIA, Rolling Stone, Grammy Awards Book 2017, Texas Monthly, Papercut, Elléments, GLASSbook, FaceOn, Style-ology, Austin Wedding Day, Sessions, Dark Beauty, Signature Hits, Austin Lifestyle + many more.
Nancy has also worked on many television + film projects with acclaimed actors Robert Patrick, Casey Affleck, Alice Braga, Wilmer Valderrama, Rooney Mara, Noah Taylor, Joaquim De Almeida, Danny Trejo, Don Johnson, Mira Sorvino, Stephen Root and Becky Ann Baker. She has also worked with renowned directors such as Robert Rodriguez, Spike Jonze + Arcade Fire, Kim Henkel, J.J. Abrams and Joshua Marston.
